About The Hull & East Yorkshire LSIP
The Hull & Humber Chamber of Commerce is proud to be the designated employer representative body for the Hull & East Yorkshire Local Skills Improvement Plan (HEY LSIP), funded by Skills England.
The HEY LSIP is a three-year plan, operating from August 2023 to August 2026, and sets out to: ensure employers are at the heart of the local skills system; and to ensure that our current and future workforce are equipped with the skills and attributes that meet the needs of employers and the local area.
Our LSIP was developed to support employers in articulating their skills needs whilst brokering links with post 16 technical education providers and shaping current and future provisions. We continue to engage with our local employers to broker relationships with providers, and ensure they continue to share their voice on what is important in terms of skills for their
organisations.

We are about to go into the development of LSIP 2.0, which will go live in the summer 2026. To get involved, please get in touch with the HEY LSIP team via email.
