eATA Carnets Are Live

Digital ATA Carnets have gone live on 1st June for the United Kingdom, EU, Norway and Switzerland.
The fundamentals haven't changed. You still declare the same goods through your Chamber ATA Carnet application account, and the same customs rules apply at the border.
What is different is the format. From 1st June, digital presentation becomes the standard for EU, Norway and Switzerland destinations.
Reminders:
→ Download the ATA Carnet App if you haven't already. Freight forwarders and high-volume users should ask their issuing chamber about the desktop management facility.
→ Check whether your upcoming destinations are digital or paper. Mixed itineraries need careful handling.
→ Speak to your chamber if you have movements planned for early June.
