Common User Charge Rates Confirmed

From 30th April 2024, and in line with the introduction of risk-based identity and physical Border Control Post (BCP) checks set out in the BTOM, the Government will administer a Common User Charge on all eligible SPS imports (from rest of world EU and EFTA countries) entering the UK through the Port of Dover and Eurotunnel in Kent.

From 1st March 2024, there will be a new European system to store, manage and retrieve 'Proof of Union Status' (PoUS). This will replace the T2L certificate and suppliers’ declarations with a digital way of proving the customs status of Union goods.

Reminder – 30th March 2024 Is Last Day For Export Declarations On CHIEF
