It will consider the impact of the latest UK Customs Procedures and will explain in detail your obligations and responsibilities to HMRC. The course will also discuss preferential and non-preferential origin and how to identify if your goods satisfy the rules of origin.
INCOTERMS (International Commercial Terms) comprise some of the most widely used, but most misunderstood aspects within international trade; they can impact on a number of areas of a company’s operations, including sales, accounts, operations, compliance and customer service.
If used correctly, Incoterms can avoid uncertainty, minimise delay and facilitate smooth operations, transport and payment. If you agree to use a term without understanding the full implications for your business, it can result in unexpected costs, obligations and delays.
IN this 60-minute bite sized webinar session we will provide a high level overview of some key EU & UK customs and regulatory updates which traders should be aware of, such as:

A SURVEY of almost 650 UK businesses by the British Chambers of Commerce has shown that customs checks, tariffs and regulation are the top three barriers to exporting.
The findings come as the Office For Budget Responsibility’s (OBR) latest forecast said the UK’s trade volumes were expected to stagnate in the medium term, and UK trade intensity still remains below its pre-pandemic level.
Councillors across North East Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire and Lincolnshire County Council will vote on the proposed Greater Lincolnshire Devolution deal at Full Council meetings in the coming seven days and today the three leaders (Lincolnshire's Leader Cllr Martin Hill OBE, left; Cllr Rob Waltham MBE the Leader at North Lincolnshire second right, and North East Lincolnshire Leader Cllr Philip Jackson) joined Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Levelling Up Jacob Young for a ceremonial signing of the proposed deal.
THE End User Advisory Service enables exporters to seek advice on whether exports to named overseas entities will require licences because of Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) or military end use concerns. This advice is ‘non-statutory’ which means it does not constitute advice on how to follow the law and is no substitute for legal guidance. However, we recognise it is a helpful and important service for exporters to understand how export control rules might apply to them.
