A 1 hour dive into why some people freeze on stage or screen when presenting and some great tips & tricks as to how you can reduce this fear. You may not know but our regular host of the Northern Lincolnshire Business Awards, Richard Askam, has been a professional speaker and speaker coach to businesses across the world for the last 10 years and also reached the dizzy heights of becoming a TED Talker in 2017.

A TED Talk is a short presentation, typically lasting between 3 to 18 minutes, that showcases a speaker's ideas and insights on a specific topic. TED Talks aim to inspire, educate, and spark conversations, making complex ideas accessible to a wide audience. They originated in 1984 as a conference focused on Technology, Entertainment, and Design, but have since expanded to cover a wide range of subjects, including science, health, politics, and culture. TED Talks are available for free online and have become a global platform for sharing innovative ideas and fostering discussions.

Now he is bringing all that experience to bear for Chamber members in a 60 minute online session on Tuesday 24th February 2026 starting at 12 noon until 1pm.
