EUR1 - "Revised Rules"

We are aware that several Exporters have been asked to enter “Revised Rules” text into Box 7 of an EUR1 by
various Customs authorities following notices issued by the likes of Morocco and Egypt. As far as we are aware
these notices refer to EU EUR1’s and not to UK EUR1’s issued by the British Chamber Issuing Network.

The requirement to add “Revised Rules” relates to changes in the Pan European-Mediterranean (PEM)
agreement that came into force on the 1st of January 2026. The UK is currently not a member of PEM although
this is currently under consultation.

At present please do not add “Revised Rules” into Box 7 but please be advised that the rules do apply to UK
EUR1’s.
