Hull & East Yorkshire LSIP Forum

We are delighted to confirm that the next Hull and East Yorkshire Local Skills Improvement Plan (HEY LSIP) Forum will take place on Monday the 9^th February 2026 at the MKM Stadium in Hull. We are hugely grateful to our friends and colleagues at Hull City Football Club for offering to host the event. On the day, registration will begin from 9:00am for a 9:30am start, and proceedings will conclude by 1:00pm. A hot buffet lunch will be provided straight after this.

The 9^th February marks the start of National Apprenticeship Week and in support of this our forum focus will be on careers and work experience.

We are planning some exciting and wide-ranging topics for the forum, and we will be hearing from;

• The Careers Hub about the recently announced Modern Work Experience Programme
• Humber Learning Consortium and their amazing Educational Portable Escape Rooms
• The Tigers Trust and their reach into the region especially through their brilliant work with schools

In addition to this there will be a fantastic opportunity to enjoy an escorted “pitchside” walk of the MKM stadium.

We will also use the occasion to update our stakeholders, partners and supporters on the latest developments in the HEY LSIP, including feedback from the current survey and the planned sector round-table events taking place at the end of January (please get in touch if you would like to get involved in these).
