Letter seeks to reassure businesses over abolition of LEPs

A LETTER from the HEY LEP sent out to business owners in the region aims to reassure firms following the Government announcement that LEPs will be transferred to local councils by March 31, 2024.

Signed by the LEP Chair James Newman, the Leader of Hull City Council Mike Ross and the Leader of ERYC Anne Handley, the letter says they are “optimistic that the position of the region will be strengthened by these developments as we move towards 2024.”
