Funded AAT Bookkeeping Bootcamp Supports Local Employers to Bridge Skills Gaps
Offer available from December 02, 2025 until January 16, 2026
This offer is provided by First Intuition Yorkshire & Humber.
Businesses across Hull and the East Riding can now access a new opportunity to upskill their workforce through funded AAT Bookkeeping training. Delivered through the Skills Bootcamp initiative and supported by Hull City Council, this programme aims to help employers tackle the region’s well-reported shortage of accounting and bookkeeping skills.
Local organisations continue to highlight challenges in recruiting staff with strong financial administration skills, a skills gap that can slow productivity and limit business growth. These new AAT courses provide a practical solution by enabling employers to develop reliable financial capability within their existing teams.
We have 20 funded places available across the AAT Level 2 and Level 3 Bookkeeping qualifications. SMEs may receive up to 90% funding, with larger employers eligible for up to 70%, making this an affordable way to strengthen internal finance functions.
This programme is available exclusively to businesses in Hull & East Riding, helping local employers strengthen their finance teams at a fraction of the cost.
“These courses offer people a real opportunity to progress professionally while helping employers build stronger teams,” says Emma Vincent, Managing Director.
Natalie Stevenson, Business Development Manager, adds: “This partnership removes key cost barriers and supports long-term workforce development across the region.”
Employers interested in securing a funded place are encouraged to contact our team for more information. Courses start in January, and places are subject to availability. Terms and conditions apply.
