How a positive mindset will keep business owners on the best path in a week which marks International Day of Happiness, as well as a full year since the first lockdown began.

How a positive mindset will keep business owners on the best path in a week which marks International Day of Happiness, as well as a full year since the first lockdown began.

International motivational speaker Steve Judge

Steve Judge, an international motivational speaker, will appear at an exclusive business event this summer, organised by Lincolnshire business coach, John McHale

Every year, on March 20th, International Day of Happiness aims to celebrate happiness all over the world, inspiring people to spread positivity. After facing a global crisis together for a full twelve months, there’s never been a more poignant time to find positive ways to look after ourselves and each other, especially in business terms.

Happiness can bring a fairer and more balanced approach to running and growing a business, such that it foregrounds sustainable development. A profound shift in attitudes is underway all over the world and people now recognise that ‘progress’ in every aspect of life should be about increasing human happiness and wellbeing, not just about growing the economy.

Steve Judge is someone who believes an abundant mindset is key to keeping business owners on the right path. Following a near fatal car accident resulting in both legs being crushed, Steve was told that he may never walk again.

Through setting goals and working towards them he was able to achieve more than was thought possible through his rehabilitation, eventually becoming a World Champion in the sport of paratriathlon. Steve believes he has got to where he is today by following these 8 steps:

  1. Having a positive vision of where he wanted to go
  2. Knowing why he wanted to get to that point
  3. Establishing where he was going to achieve his goal
  4. Finding out who was going to help him get there
  5. Planning on how to get there by recognising what he could do, rather than what he couldn’t do
  6. Turning excuses into challenges
  7. Always being the best version of himself
  8. Living with no regrets.

Steve now uses his own experience in his uplifting, poignant and yet humorous performances to help people realise their own goals, inspiring them to work towards them within their business, social and personal life.

In a bid to aid happiness and abundance, this summer, Steve is appearing at Limitless Live, this one-of-a-kind event will provide three days of immersive, in-depth learning and workshop activities to help business owners capitalise on growth potential. Steve will be taking attendees through an inspiring and entertaining journey following his own commitment and achievements. Expert business coaches, Simon Ellson from Hertfordshire and John McHale from Lincolnshire, will use their expertise to coach and mentor just eight selected businesses during the event – those who are truly committed to growth.

“My advice to business owners, and anyone, who has been affected by the pandemic is that to keep an abundant mindset, routine is so important. A good routine can drag you through the hardest of times. It’s the things like going outside and keeping fit and healthy that will get you through,” said Steve.

Steve gives his three top tips on how to link an abundant mindset with running a successful business:

  1. Finding something you love – if you love what you do, your work or vocation will bring happiness
  2. Wellness is important. Getting the balance right (personally – exercise and eating right) and making sure you look after wellness in your business
  3. Ensuring that you want to help people because in turn, helping people will make you happy.

“One of the most common questions I’m asked is how to stay motivated. I would always say being aware of vision is key. Knowing where you’re going, what your opportunities are and what it is you want,” said Steve.

Limitless Live, the exclusive business growth academy event, will take place between the 21st-23rd June at the breath-taking Rushton Hall in Northamptonshire. Steve will be on the line-up of inspiring speakers, along with two other world-class speakers, imparting his knowledge on how an abundant mindset can keep business owners on the best path.
