Business Week Panel Discussion - To consider the view from The Humber

Business Week Panel Discussion - To consider the view from The Humber

Port of Hull

REGIONAL law firm Andrew Jackson Solicitors LLP announces that it will host a panel discussion with tax and accounting firm RSM UK during Humber Business Week 2021. With a high profile panel comprising some of the region's leading business people, the live panel discussion - 'View from the Humber: Our Economic World Today' - will consider what the future holds for the region against the backdrop of emerging from lockdown, Freeport status and Brexit.

Dominic Ward, senior partner and head of international trade at Andrew Jackson, will chair the panel featuring Adam Couch (chief executive, Cranswick Plc), Simon Bird (regional director Humber, Associated British Ports), Rowena Clifton (indirect tax partner, RSM UK), Colin Moody (managing director, Neill & Brown Global Logistics), Jo Ackers (Bridlington Independent Shellfishermen's Cooperative), and Andrew Oliver (partner, commercial fisheries, Andrew Jackson Solicitors).

Dominic Ward said: - "We are delighted to host this Business Week event alongside RSM, and to be joined by our panel members, all of whom bring a wealth of knowledge and insight into the opportunities and challenges facing the region's businesses. The event looks set to be a lively and thought-provoking discussion about how the Humber defines and secures its place in the world, along with the opportunities for growth against the backdrop of emerging from lockdown in the post–Brexit era and including the recent announcement of Freeport status for the Humber.

"We want our attendees to gain valuable insight from the presentation and, in advance of the session, we would encourage them to send through any questions they would like the panel to discuss during the event. There will also be an opportunity to submit questions during the panel discussion," Dominic added.
