Are You Ready for the New World of Trade?

The future of trade is upon us.  When the UK leaves the EU, the way we trade will change and we'll need qualified people who can manage it.

The Hull & Humber Chamber of Commerce is introducing a new Customs Declarations Training programme which will highlight what you need to know to complete customs declarations accurately and efficiently.

There are no pre-requesites for this training.  Training can be classroom based or e-learning.  Course content is based on the following topics:

Introduction to trade

Business responsibilities

Export process

Import process

Valuation - explanation of the main methods and their application

Classification - determining the use of commodity codes

Using Customs Procedure Codes

Export and import controls

Reliefs, preferences, Customs simplified procedures
