Development of LSIP 2.0 Webinar

Date March 23, 2026 Location Webinar - Online Event
Development of LSIP 2.0 Webinar

Following on from our Forum on 9th February 2026, we mentioned about our intention to keep you updated on the development of the Hull & East Yorkshire Local Skills Improvement Plan 2.0 (HEY LSIP 2.0). Therefore, we would like to invite you to a webinar to share our emerging plans, priorities and actions for HEY LSIP 2.0 — and, importantly, discuss how we intend to shape them together.

As employer needs continue to evolve, our collective response must be coordinated, agile and genuinely collaborative. As outlined at our February Forum, HEY LSIP 2.0 will place a strong emphasis on:

  • Responding to pan-sector challenges that cut across industries;
  • Supporting the educational workforce to deliver the skills employers need now and in the future;
  • Strengthening preparation for working life, ensuring learners are equipped with the knowledge of local opportunities and understand the skills needed for when they enter the world of work;
  • Improving how we share knowledge, intelligence and insights to inform decision-making, avoid duplication and support employers navigate our skills system.

This session will outline our proposed priorities and explore how partners can work together to deliver meaningful impact. Your perspective and experience will be invaluable as we ensure LSIP 2.0 remains responsive, practical and rooted in employer voice.

As a reminder, the development of HEY LSIP 2.0 has been very much a collaborative effort with the focus of employers at the heart of its development. We will be submitting our initial draft of HEY LSIP 2.0 on Friday 27th March to Skills England.

We hope you will join us for this important conversation and help shape the next stage of delivery.
