World Trade at One Spring Programme Revealed

World Trade at One Spring Programme Revealed

WORLD Trade at One (WT@1), the Chamber's informal yet informative international trade club, has a full programme of events planned for Spring 2017.

In the current climate, we are all being encouraged to explore opportunities outside of the EU. China and the USA are the world's largest economies and so we will be starting our Spring programme with a special Chinese New Year event on 9th February focussing on the opportunities and challenges when trading with China.

This will be followed on 23rd March by a Trading With the USA seminar, highlighting the opportunities for Yorkshire and Humber businesses in this market and also providing an update on the recent political situation in the USA and what the new administration means for business.

Our next event will provide food and drink producers/companies with the opportunity to Meet the Buyer and have the opportunity to find out how to successfully sell and export their product(st) to overseas markets.

The hugely important subject of Marine Insurance will feature next in our programme. Marine insurance is an essential part of the export procedure but it is not always given the careful thought and importance that it deserves by the exporter, which can result in goods being exported without cover!
