Take a peek at Grimsby’s newest youth centre with a virtual tour

HORIZON Youth Zone, Grimsby’s brand-new youth charity can now be explored virtually.

Opened in February 2026 and located in the heart of Grimsby, Horizon is a safe, inspiring space where young people aged 8-19, and up to 25 for those with additional needs, can enjoy their leisure time, discover their passions, and unlock their potential.

After their grand opening event in February, Horizon has run a 7-day a week operation, welcoming thousands of children and young people through the doors.

Fiona Wright, Head of Fundraising & Communications said, “We found that many people were keen to look around our facilities but as we’re unable to provide individual tours, we wanted to do something that would help us keep engaged with our community.

“We know that new spaces can be daunting for some children and young people, and that parents want to know what we can offer so we hope that this virtual tour will be a key first step for their journey with Horizon.”

Working with James Daniel, Director of JDSQ Ltd, who volunteered his time to capture and produce a Matterport, people can now explore Horizon Youth Zone virtually via their website: www.horizonyouthzone.org/take-a-tour/

James said, “We were delighted to be able help such a worthwhile project which we think is a fantastic asset for the young people of the area.”

With over 3500 members from across North East Lincolnshire, Horizon is providing children and young people with somewhere to go, something to do, and someone to talk to.
