Modular Systems to Supply Bathroom Pods for the Sizewell C Accommodation Campus

THE bathroom pod contract represents a major milestone for the business and further strengthens Hull's growing reputation as a centre of excellence for advanced manufacturing and Modern Methods of Construction (MMC).

The Accommodation Campus forms an important part of the wider Sizewell C development, providing high-quality accommodation for the workforce supporting construction of the new nuclear power station on the Suffolk coast. McLaren Construction has been appointed by Sizewell C as the Construction Management Partner for the delivery of key Accommodation Campus facilities.

As production ramps up, the company will expand its apprenticeship programme in partnership with Hull College, while creating additional skilled employment opportunities across manufacturing, engineering, quality, logistics and technical design.
