Hull’s Myton Law is appointed by National Insurance Brokers DR&P to advise on marine & transit claims

THE expert legal insight provided through the partnership with Myton Law will elevate its marine and transit claims proposition, says DR&P.
Marine and transit insurance is one of DR&P’s key market specialisms. A family of brokers, DR&P has 34 UK offices and is one of the UK’s top 100 independent insurance brokers.

Myton Law is a firm of specialist lawyers covering insurance relating to international trade, sale & purchase of goods, shipping, rail, logistics, renewables, ports, real estate and commercial and transactional work. Acting for underwriters, insureds and brokers, Myton Law advises on marine claims, including cargo, hull and machinery, P&I; non-marine, including goods in transit, warehousing and commercial property; and other matters such as insurance fraud, policy wording and broker’s rights and obligations.
The service agreement adds value to DR&P’s claims process. Where required, clients will have access to initial legal guidance on policy interpretation, liability, quantum and strategy and receive written assessments within 3-5 days of instruction to help progress claims and facilitate better and faster outcomes.
