East Yorkshire Buses has surplus resources of drivers and buses

EAST Yorkshire Buses is offering its vehicles and drivers to organisations which may need private buses or extra driver resources.

Area director Ben Gilligan said: "As a result of an unprecedented reduction in demand for travel by public transport, East Yorkshire Buses have made the decision to implement emergency reductions to timetables. This means that we have surplus resource that can be redeployed.

"If you have an urgent requirement for drivers or a need to move groups of staff in private buses that are not open to the general public, I would be keen to talk to you to see if we can meet your needs."

All our vehicles are now undergoing a daily enhanced cleaning regime and are sanitised every night which should hopefully address any concerns you may have in this respect”
