Construction Begins on Laceby Manor’s New Padel, Golf & Welcome Centre

SPANNING more than 1,000 square metres, the purpose-built centre will bring together two super-panoramic indoor padel courts, a state-of-the-art Trackman golf studio, café, golf and padel retail space, and modern changing and shower facilities.

Designed to welcome both local residents and visitors to the resort, the centre will be open to everyone, with no membership required.

The two indoor padel courts will offer year-round play, with coaching, social sessions and leagues planned for players of all abilities. Combining elements of tennis and squash, padel is one of the UK's fastest-growing sports, celebrated for its accessibility and sociable nature.

For golfers, the new studio will provide an advanced indoor environment for practice, coaching and club fitting, complementing Laceby Manor's established 18-hole golf course.

Alongside the sporting facilities, the development will introduce a welcoming café and retail space, offering somewhere to meet, relax and enjoy refreshments before or after a game. The building will also become the resort's main welcome and information centre, bringing together key guest services in one location.

Roger Burnett, Owner of Laceby Manor, said:

"We've always wanted Laceby Manor to be somewhere people can enjoy more than just one activity, and this new centre is another important step in that direction.

"Padel is a fantastic social sport, and we're excited to bring it to the area alongside new facilities for golfers. Just as importantly, we want to create a welcoming space where people can meet, enjoy a coffee and feel part of Laceby Manor, whether they're regular visitors or joining us for the first time."

The development is the latest stage in Laceby Manor's continued investment in the resort, complementing its award-winning spa, luxury accommodation, restaurants and golf facilities.

The new centre will also create additional jobs in the local area, with recruitment opportunities to be announced as the opening approaches.
