The Hull and Humber Chamber of Commerce and the British Chambers of Commerce are helping businesses to consider how they can plan for the future. To help businesses consider the changes they may have to make, the British Chambers of Commerce have created a special checklist, focused around a Brexit health check, which the BCC says could yield real dividends in future. This checklist has been created based on research carried our nationwide through Chambers of Commerce in order to help businesses to start planning now.
Delivering the deal negotiated with the EU remains the Government's top priority. With an implementation period until December 2020, this would give businesses stability, certainty and time to prepare for our new relationship after EU Exit.
However, the Government must plan for every possible outcome including no deal. Without a deal, businesses may need to take action.
The British Chambers of Commerce have compiled three Guides to help businesses understand the changes to Rules of Origin, Tariffs and Customs Declarations in the event of a No-Deal Brexit. The BCC does not want to see a messy exit from the EU, but believes businesses should prepare for all scenarios. The Guides help you learn what theses changes are, how they apply to you and what might be different.
