Hull & East Yorkshire LSIP Quarterly Forum

Date April 19, 2024 Location Mercure Hull Grange Park Hotel
Hull & East Yorkshire LSIP Quarterly Forum

The Hull & Humber Chamber of Commerce and its team are pleased to invite you to their Hull & East Yorkshire LSIP Quarterly Forum, taking place on Friday 19th April from 8.30am - 11.30am.

This Hull & East Yorkshire LSIP Forum will focus on Theme 5 of the Hull & East Yorkshire LSIP - Accessibility. This theme focuses on key threads within accessibility, which employers and key stakeholders informed us they needed:

  1. Information on matters, such as Net Zero and Automation, to be written in a user-friendly language that is understood by all.
  2. Access to information with regards to training that could support their business within one central point.
  3. Accessible pathways to all on to provision available, particularly those who are considered to be at a disadvantage.
  4. Support in assessing their organisations’ skills needs for the future.

We will be using the Forum as an opportunity for employers to feed in on these key threads, and help direct the delivery of the LSIP relating to these.

Our LSIP Forums aim to bring together employers, providers and stakeholders to:
• Update you on the work of the Hull & East Yorkshire LSIP and key activities being undertaken collaboratively across the region.
• Gain employer views and input on key skills issues affecting our region
• Check, inform and help shape our plans for taking the LSIP forward.
• Provide a platform for you to share your views on the skills that matter for you and your business.
• Identify and develop opportunities, which can support the Hull & East Yorkshire LSIP Delivery.

A light breakfast will be provided at the start of the event.

Full details to be announced but in the meantime please do not hesitate to contact Hannah Crookes .
