Shipping
The Chamber’s Shipping Committee has a long history of representing the interests of those in the shipping and transportation sectors in the Hull & Humber region, dating back to the merger of the Hull Shipowners’ Society with the Chamber in 1847.
As well as having regular discussions with the port operators, it also considers strategic transport issues in the region, particularly concerning port access.
Meetings of the Shipping Committee are held quarterly, usually at the Chamber’s offices in Hull. For more information, please contact Sam Lowton.
