Chamber Charities

The Chamber of Commerce runs two Charities, the Sir Henry Samman Hull Chamber of Commerce Endowment Fund and the 150th Anniversary Charitable Trust of the Hull Incorporated Chamber of Commerce and Shipping.

Sir Henry Samman Hull Chamber of Commerce Endowment Fund

The Sir Henry Samman fund was established on 1 January 1917 to assist selected students to 'study the Russian Language or Russian Business Methods' abroad or subsequently other such languages or business methods abroad as the Trustees shall determine.

 

150th Anniversary Charitable Trust

The 150th Anniversary Charitable Trust Fund was established on 21 October 1986 to enhance medical facilities within Hull and the immediate area.
