Quarterly Economic Survey
The Chamber's Quarterly Economic Survey is an important way for members to express their concerns about economic issues affecting their businesses.
The results form part of the British Chambers of Commerce QES, and are discussed by the Bank of England's Monetary Policy Committee before it makes its decisions on interest rates. They are also seen by MPs, councillors and other key decision-makers. We use them extensively to lobby on behalf of our members.
How to take part
The survey has been sent to every Chamber member, but can also be completed on the BCC website.

Fieldwork for Quarter 2 of 2013 has now begun. The deadline for completed surveys is Monday, June 10, 2013.
Previous results
Results from the QES are the basis of our quarterly Humber Economic Intelligence report (back issues can be found in our Publications section). The results are also reported on in the Chamber's Business Intelligence magazine and in the local media.
