Quarterly Economic Survey
The Chamber's Quarterly Economic Survey is an important way for members to express their concerns about economic issues affecting their businesses.
The results form part of the British Chambers of Commerce QES, and are discussed by the Bank of England's Monetary Policy Committee before it makes its decisions on interest rates. They were also included in the Treasury's economic analysis for the 2008 Pre-Budget Report and are seen by MPs, councillors and other key decision-makers. We use them extensively to lobby on behalf of our members.
How to take part
A paper copy of the survey will be posted to every Chamber member. The survey can also be completed on the BCC website.

Please note: The deadline for Q1 2010 responses is Monday 15 March.
Previous results
Results from the QES are the basis of our quarterly Humber Economic Intelligence report (back issues can be found in our Publications section). Subscribers to the Chamber's free Policy News email list receive a copy of the results when they are released, and they are also reported on in the Chamber's Business Intelligence magazine and in the local media.
