The Chamber runs a busy calendar of more than 70 events every year, attended by over six thousand local business people.

Network lunches are held every month, alternately at North and South Bank venues. These informal and social lunches are held at the best venues in the region, which provide a perfect setting for meeting business people. These occasions are very popular, with over a hundred members attending each one. Many members have won large amounts of business as a direct result of meeting new clients at these events.
Speed networking give you the chance to meet around 30 business people in a short period of time – and it’s fun! The delegates are split into two separate teams, with each team meeting all the members of the other team, in ‘meetings’ of two minutes. Sessions usually take place before our network lunches.
Exhibition & convention
The Chamber hosts and organises the biggest business event in the region every year, held at the KC Stadium. The exhibition part of the event features over 100 stands, while the convention comprises a series of speaking events and lunches with high profile and well-known individuals from the worlds of politics and business. Over 2,500 people attend the event each year.
Social and corporate hospitality
The following events are corporate hospitality occasions, with Chamber Member organisations inviting their clients, colleagues, friends and partners. They also offer a great environment in which to network.
Chamber Annual Dinner
The Chamber Annual Dinner has been one of the most prestigious occasions on the business calendar for over a century. Held at a first class local venue, the Dinner is attended every year by nearly 400 people, including VIPs from across the region. It is a highly enjoyable evening which features an ideal mix of serious and entertainment. Every year, a high-ranking representative of the world of politics or business is the headline speaker, followed by a comedian and/or musical entertainer. Members often book tables of ten, but can attend in any numbers.
President's Golf Day and Dinner
Probably because someone once said much business is done on the golf course, the Chamber decided, in 1997, to host an annual Golf Day. Every year over 20 Member organisations enter teams into this corporate hospitality event. The day is an occasion for entertainment and fun, though the competitive spirit of the players does come to bear!
The golf itself is followed by an evening Dinner, at a nearby hotel venue, at which the prizes are presented. There is a disco and a three-course meal, plus money is raised for the President’s charity.
Chamber Race Days
The Chamber has been organising Race Days since 1997, to provide Members with a first class day out in an exciting atmosphere. Held in the superb setting Beverley Racecourse and at the historic St Leger Festival at Doncaster, these are a great way to entertain guests, while enjoying excellent food and drink. The events are a great day out – and some Members even finish the day with more money then they started with!

Northern Lincolnshire Business Awards
The Awards have grown to become the largest single annual business event on the south bank of the Humber. 500 business people gather every June at Grimsby Auditorium to attend the black tie Gala Presentation and Dinner to celebrate business success. The Awards are open to companies of every size, age and type and we have tried to make them as inclusive as possible. It's a fantastic opportunity to recognise the wealth of business talent and entrepreneurship we have in this region.
