Investment & Trade Opportunities in the Gulf

World Trade At 1 will be welcoming the Trade Services Director of the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce to Hull on the 6th March. Mr Abdeslam El-Idrissi will be giving an exciting presentation on trade opportunities in the Gulf, which will be of great interest to manufacturers, shipping service providers and their exporters/importers.

Trade opportunities in the countries of the Arab world have never been better. The Gulf region in particular is undergoing an incredibly rapid pace of development which has now been sustained over the past few years on the basis of the high oil revenues that these countries are enjoying.

UK companies now need to look beyond Dubai and Saudi Arabia to explore business partnerships with the rest of the Gulf. In particular, Qatar whose gas is coming on stream and which has high spending power can now be highlighted. New opportunities are emerging for SMEs now that Arab family businesses are increasingly looking to develop and find new partners.
