Members' Speaker Lunch & Speed Networking

The September Members‘ Lunch will feature special guest speaker Adam Posen, member of Monetary Policy Committee at the Bank of England. There will also be Speed Networking. The venue will be at the KC Stadium, Walton Street, Hull.
Adam Posen, the American academic who joined the Monetary Policy Committee of the Bank of England in September 2009, has agreed to speak to Hull & Humber Chamber of Commerce members about his views on the UK and global economy at this sensitive period in the global economic recovery. Mr Posen will then answer any questions members have on the important economic issues of the day.
Don’t miss this ‘speaker lunch’ with Adam Posen of the Bank of England. Places are limited and you are recommended to book early.
There will of course be a chance to network with other businesses. The Hull & Humber Chamber of Commerce holds Network lunches every month, alternately at North and South Bank venues. These informal and social lunches are held at the best venues in the region, which provide a perfect setting for meeting business people. These occasions are very popular, with over a hundred members attending each one. Many members have won large amounts of business as a direct result of meeting new clients at these events.
The Members' Network Lunch will provide first-class networking opportunities before, during and after the lunch itself. As a direct result of these network lunches many Members have won contracts and secured new business. To maximise networking opportunities please note that delegates from the same company will be seated on different tables. The Members' Network Lunch will begin with networking from 12.30pm, ready to sit down for lunh at 1.00pm.
Immediately before this special speaker lunch, we will be hosting our regular Speed Networking, where you are guaranteed to meet a large number of business people…. And it’s fun!!!! The speed networking session will take place from 11.00am until 12.15pm, immediately before the Member’s Speaker Lunch.
