Changes To Delivery Terms Codes For 2012
For Intrastat purposes.
The ICC made changes to their Incoterms at the beginning of January 2011. Two new terms were introduced, DAT and DAP, which replaced DAF, DES, DEQ and DDU.
For Intrastat purposes, as well as accepting the two new terms, DAT and DAP, during 2011 they have continued to accept DAF, DEQ, DES and DDU on Intrastat declarations.
From January 2012 onwards, businesses must use the new codes where DAF, DES, DEQ and DDU were previsouly used:
- DAT replaces DEQ
- DAP replaces DAF, DES and DDU
